We’ve added another reading order that was sitting in our reserves: Starman, by James Robinson. While the reading list is less than 150 issues, it can get confusing because of missing trades (notably the Times Past issues), overlapping trade dress and events, optional guest appearances and spin-offs.
We’ve compiled everything that we could find that directly relates to James Robinson’s Jack Knight, Starman and Opal City, as well as a few tips on what to read and what you can skip.
Like our Planetary reading order, we’ve offered up this reading order in part to promote our love of the series. It’s one of the all time great runs in comics, though it hardly gets recommended after the usual Sandman/Swamp Thing/Watchmen suggestions.
